Flush cutters are useful tools in 3D printing especially in print cleanup to cleanly snip away excess 3D printed material or supports to maintain a nice finish.  Also useful to snip filament at a 45-degree angle for easy insertion into the feeder after changing filament or performing a cleanup.  Cuts through filament like butter.
